Oliver Smyth's Retirement
[vc_row][vc_column width="1/4"][vc_single_image image="1758" img_size="full" style="vc_box_rounded"][/vc_column][vc_column width="3/4"][vc_column_text]It is with regret but best wishes that we announce the retirement of Oliver Smyth effective January 1st. Oliver’s retirement marks the end of an era for Osprey. Oliver was Osprey’s first sales representative and was the last remaining bond to our foundation in the Southeastern textile industry. He has been with the company for over 36 years. Oliver grew up in Opelika, Alabama and attended the University of Alabama, but he graduated from Auburn University in 1966. When asked where his loyalty lies, he says he bleeds orange and blue. Oliver’s daughter Elizabeth is graduating with her Masters from Tulane University this year in Sustainable Real Estate Development. Oliver does not see this as retirement since he still manages several real estate properties and partnerships. He plans to work on a lake property with his wife Jean of 43 years as well as staying active within his neighborhood. We are indebted to his commitment and dedication to Osprey. On behalf of everyone, thank you Oliver and all the best to you and your family.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
