Roll Feeders for Film Grinders

Purpose

Roll feeders are used to input scrap rolls of plastic film into a grinder for recycling. All Osprey roll feeders can be used in conjunction with a film grinder trim receiver and a hand feed chute. Depending on the size of the waste rolls, multiple rolls of film can be processed by the roll feeder at once.

Features

Osprey roll feeders include pneumatic roll tensioning that enables the roll feeder to infeed and hold the film while it is been processed by the grinder. The added tension prevents the film from being striped though the feed rolls by the grinder’s rotor thus causing scrap over feeding or producing grinder processing issues. Roll feeders include speed adjustment that allows both trim and waste rolls to be processed together. Osprey roll feeders are available in various widths and roll size options.
