PURPOSE
Collects edge trim from nonwoven production lines, renders trim into smaller pieces for handling, and delivers to scrap collectors for densification or baling.

OPERATION
Pick-up nozzles collect the edge trim from the production line and route it through either a blower, or a blower with an in-line cutter for size reduction. At that point a diverter valve offers two options. The trim can be sent to a densification system for immediate processing, or it can be sent to a scrap collector with a baler to be compacted for future use.
