Purpose
Simultaneously filters particulate material from multiple process airstreams, maintains air volume and static pressure, and returns material to production line.

Application
Filtration for soft disposable forming processes including diapers, sanitary napkins, and adult incontinence pads; Fluff Reclaim, Bale Opening, SAP Extraction, Cull Collection, and Scrap Collection Systems; Textile processes; Filtration for plastic dust collection such as Trim and Regrind/Reclaim Systems, Cyclone outlet filtration, and Trim Collection.

Operation
Process air is ducted to independent filtration cells within a Rotary Drum Filter Enclosure. The airborne particulate/fiber is deposited on the media surface while clean air passes through the filter media. Particulate is removed by suction nozzles and conveyed to a convenient collection point or returned to the production process. The clean air is discharged to the atmosphere by a unique airfoil balancing fan. The special independent filtration cell arrangement for each production line and selected design features of air control allow this process to occur on multiple production lines simultaneously.
