Soft Disposables

In 1981, Osprey sold an innovative specially designed rotary drum filter to a diaper manufacturer in Macon, Georgia. This filter replaced a bag filter that was working with a horizontal screen forming section.  The Osprey drum filter was an instant success.  Today, there are over 2,000 Osprey filters worldwide. It is the standard by which other filters are measured.  We now work closely with the manufacturers of soft disposable products and equipment suppliers to improve core forming and filtration designs.

Osprey has expanded its product line over the years to include systems for waste recycling.  These systems include trim handling and conveying systems, waste destruction and baling systems, and fiber opening and metering systems.  Osprey is the first company in 1991 to offer a pulp fiber and SAP reclaim system for the waste recycling of disposable products.
